Laura Mast

Laura is a native southern Californian who graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from USC with a B.S. in Education. She lived and worked in Newport Beach before moving to Montecito in 1997. She began her real estate career as the Director of Marketing for Mission Viejo Realty Group, where she created marketing and advertising for their planned community developments in Mission Viejo, Pacific Business Park, and Highlands Ranch in Colorado. She oversaw marketing for both commercial and residential real estate, as well as land use planning. Laura then became a commercial real estate broker and successfully represented buyers, sellers, and tenants in commercial real estate transactions. She worked closely with property management teams while also creating marketing and advertising for her clients. When Laura moved to Montecito, she began working as an independent broker for residential real estate, quickly amassing knowledge of the local real estate market and representing both buyers and sellers.

Laura is respected by her industry peers for her honesty and integrity. With more than 20 years of experience in all areas of real estate, Laura employs a comprehensive approach to each transaction rooted in her expertise in negotiation and creative marketing skills. She is attentive and dedicated, and aims to provide the highest level of service. Her reputation is built on satisfied clients who know she can hold deals together.

Outside of real estate, Laura’s hobbies include surfing, yoga, hiking, golf, painting, and traveling. She has two teenage children. Laura is highly involved in philanthropic initiatives that range from art to education. She has been a founding member of C.A.M.A. Fellows, Montecito Union School’s Green Committee, and Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s S.M.A.R.T Families. She has also contributed to organizations such as the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, Domestic Violence Solutions, Crane Country Day School, Montecito Union School PTA, National Charity League, and Santa Barbara High School V.A.D.A. and MAD.
